Debra Wallace Gilkey is the President and Managing Broker of Gilkey Realty, Inc. Mrs. Gilkey graduated from the University of Florida with a business degree majoring in real estate and has held a Florida real estate brokerage license for 30 years. After graduating she was the instructor for a University of Florida correspondence real estate course for several years.
Mrs. Gilkey began her career specializing in multifamily projects. Her responsibilities ranged from marketing/feasibility studies and appraisals to assisting in the development of the property management arm of a large REIT with over 6,000 apartment and condominium units. She also served as sales director for a gulf-front condominium project in Tarpon Springs, Florida.
Mrs. Gilkey is a fourth generation Florida native and has lived and worked throughout the state her entire life. She is very familiar with the multiple geographic areas of the state and has resided in Lee County for the past 24 years. Recently, Mrs. Gilkey has become involved in her family's truck dealership, Wallace International Trucks, where she serves as Executive Vice President and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Dennis Gilkey serves as Senior Advisor and Sales Associate for Gilkey Realty, Inc. Mr. Gilkey has more than 33 years of experience in various land development, highway, building and utility projects throughout Florida. Prior to forming Gilkey Realty, Inc. with his wife Debra, he served for 23 years in senior capacities for the Bonita Bay Group companies, culminating in a nine year position as president and CEO.
As the former president/CEO of Bonita Bay Group, Mr. Gilkey oversaw the acquisition of 13,000 acres for several large-scale master planned communities. Mr. Gilkey led the Bonita Bay Group ' s efforts in entitlements, development, marketing and sales of 10 communities, totaling over 12,000 homes ranging in price from $200,000 to over $5,000,0000. Mr. Gilkey also served as President of five realty companies owned by Bonita Bay Group affiliates, and oversaw the company 's efforts in commercial development, builder sales, and bulk land sales.
Mr. Gilkey is very active within the real estate business community. Mr. Gilkey has served as on the Florida Land Council, Association of Florida Community Developers, and has been an active member of the ULI for over 20 years. He was also appointed as a commissioner for the Century Commission for a Sustainable Florida and serves as an advisory board member of the University of Florida Center for Real Estate Studies. Mr. Gilkey is an active member of the Bonita-Estero Area Realty Association.
Raised in Fort Pierce, Fla., Mr. Gilkey received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Florida in 1973. He began his career in the engineering consulting business and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida. Mr. Gilkey also serves as a Bank Director for CNL Bank of SW Florida.

Jason Gilkey, Vice President of Gilkey Realty, Inc. serves as the Broker and Orlando Area Manager of the company's branch office in Winter Park. Prior to joining Gilkey Realty, Mr. Gilkey served for over five years in sales and broker-associate positions for successful Orlando area real estate firms, including Coldwell Banker and Realty Executives.
Mr. Gilkey specializes in the sale and acquisition of commercial property and large land tracts. He assists property owners with quality marketing and sales services, and also serves potential land buyers with professional, personalized selection and acquisition services, while maintaining an excellent relationship with the greater real estate brokerage industry.
Mr. Gilkey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate from the University of Central Florida. He is also a candidate to receive both the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) prestigious designations, and is an associate member of the national Urban Land Institute. Mr. Gilkey is also a member of the Orlando Area Realtor Association and the Bonita-Estero Area Realty Association.
Mr. Gilkey is a Florida native, having been born in Pasco County and growing up in Lee County. He graduated from Bishop Verot High School in Fort Myers, where he lettered in Track, before attending University of Central Florida in Orlando.
An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Gilkey respects and enjoys Florida waters, with fishing, boating and diving. When not at work, he also enjoys spending time with his son, Jarrett. Mr. Gilkey is very involved in his local church, and devotes much of his time to ministry and group leadership roles.
